Asia: When I was younger I had a lot of anger issues, towards a certain person. I’ve been angry for a long, long time but I’ve taken anger management classes and it helped some.

BW: Who’s the certain person?

Asia: A family member.

BW: Did someone do something to you?

Asia: … my brother… he raped me.

BW: *sigh* I’m sorry, how old were you?

Asia: It started at the age of 7 and continued until the age of 10. He was 15 or 16.

BW: Did you ever tell anyone about it?

Asia: Before my mother passed, this year, I told her about it. She cried. She was sad that I didn’t believe and trust in her enough to tell her.

BW: Why do you think you didn’t tell her?

Asia: I was too scared.

BW: Where is your brother now?

Asia: I have no idea.

BW: If you could tell him something, what would you tell him?

Asia: I forgive you. I can’t stay mad at him forever. God says everything happens for a reason.
