BW: What was Job Corp like?
Ryan: Man, it was a whole new experience for me cause I was home schooled for middle and high school. There was so many people in Job Corp that I didn’t really know what to do. I was really shy… but after a while I adapted to it.
BW: Tell me about something that left an impression on you.
Ryan: I was at a friend of mine’s house and his sister, she was a stripper and she expected me to be hoppin’ on this girl and hoppin’ on that girl. She said, “Are you dumb? Get the fuck out of my house.” She did it in front of everybody. Emotionally that was the hardest day for me, man.
BW: So, she was pissed at you because you didn’t want to hook up with her or her friends?
Ryan: That’s what I think, yeah.
BW: You didn’t want to get laid?
Ryan: I did want to get laid cause they were dancin’ on me, half naked. I was like… I didn’t know what to do. I mean, I was only 21. I was intimidated by them. You know, you don’t want to look stupid and say something dumb.
But it made me stronger…
You know, they [strippers] are used to people just all up on them, just cause of how they look, but I like to know who people really are. I don’t like to just go on looks. The people that I meet, I like it to be an organic experience. Know what I mean? I like to ease into it.
