Tina: I lost my best friend and partner three years ago. I miss her and so do the kids. She passed away thirteen days before our anniversary. It was tragic. Everyone called us Ike and Mike. Said we looked alike. We was crazy together. We loved each other. There’s no doubt about it, she was my soulmate.
BW: I’m sorry. How did she die?
Tina: Her x old man pushed her out of the truck. It was a real high truck and her head hit the concrete. He laid her on the sofa to die. Didn’t even take her to the hospital. When she finally did get to the hospital they took an x-ray of her brain and said she shouldn’t even be alive. Said she was living on unconditional love.
She told me, she says, “I don’t never regret being with you. Even though we put each other through a lot of bad times, we had so many great times too.” And she was right. We had started to work through things and get right and just like that, she was gone.
It’s not easy to find your soulmate but I did and I lost her.
